The new King Road branch public library is a 23,000 square foot building and valued at 7.2 million dollars. The project includes 3 air handling units, one which serves an under floor plenum space for the main pavilion area. The building has multiple fan powered boxes, exhaust fans, and ventilators. It features a unique all glass front, drive up window, a drive through garage that houses multiple vehicles, and the most state of the art technology available. The 7 acre site also has a children’s area with interactives, a studio space, and an outdoor garden.
